Jonathan joined E78 Partners in 2023 as Chief Development Officer to lead M&A activity and drive the firm’s inorganic growth strategy. As CDO, Jonathan partners with the executive team and business unit leaders to define acquisition priorities and identify unique companies that will bring additional strategic capabilities to E78 clients and leads the entire acquisition lifecycle from sourcing to integration.
As a seasoned corporate development executive, Jonathan brings a wealth of experience in evaluating the unique and macro risks associated with acquiring private companies. Prior to joining E78, Jonathan was a Partner at West Monroe, a digital consultancy, and led its Corporate Development function. He started his career at Aon, a global insurance broker, spending time in both strategy and corporate development roles in Chicago and London. Over the course of his career, he has led multi-disciplinary teams across the globe, closing over 60 acquisitions and divestitures of public, private, family-owned, and private equity-backed businesses in more than 20 countries.
Jonathan received a BA in Economics from the University of Michigan and an MBA with a concentration in Corporate Finance from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Jonathan is a big supporter of youth sports and has spent the past few years “coaching” youth soccer, basketball, and baseball teams. He also supports a number of local and national non-profit organizations, including Greenlight Family Services, the YMCA, Meals on Wheels, and the Special Olympics.
