It’s an honor to be named No. 385 on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies. It’s an even greater honor to be named to the top 10 percent of companies on the list for the third year in a row.
— John Signa, Founder and CEO of E78 Partners
Formed in 2016, E78 Partners has grown from just two employees and $1.8M in revenue to more than 250 employees and ~$60M in revenue at the close of 2021.The finance, accounting and technology service provider has offices nationwide, including Chicago, Austin, Dallas, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco and Seattle. The Company has grown both organically and inorganically over this time, with four acquisitions over the last 12-months to complement its services and expand its geographic footprint.
“The COVID-19 pandemic created unprecedented challenges to and opportunities for our business,” said Signa. “Despite the challenges the last year has brought, we were able to provide vital services to our customers and grow in the process. We couldn’t have done it without an outstanding team that is customer obsessed and truly understands the needs of private equity firms and their portfolio companies because many of us came from private equity.”
Not only have the companies on the 2021 Inc. 5000 been very competitive within their markets, but this year’s list also proved especially resilient and flexible given 2020’s unprecedented challenges. Among the 5,000, the average median three-year growth rate soared to 543 percent, and median revenue reached $11.1 million. Together, those companies added more than 610,000 jobs over the past three years.
“Our growth goal is to have 700 employees with revenues in excess of $200M in five years,” said Signa. “We believe we’re in the early stages of our lifecycle and have much more growth ahead, which is evidenced by our strong customer retention rate and expansion of services with more than 300 institutionally-backed companies across the United States.”
