John Manzanares is a senior technology executive with more than 20 years of experience helping organizations align technology strategy with business outcomes. He serves as Chief Technology Officer at E78 Partners, advising CIOs, CTOs, and executive leadership teams across mid-market, enterprise, and private equity–backed organizations on complex technology decisions, transformation initiatives, and sustainable growth.
Prior to joining E78, John led enterprise IT organizations as a CIO, where he built high-performing teams, modernized technology platforms, and supported initiatives including technology strategy, M&A integration, and digital transformation. He brings a practitioner’s, operator-led mindset to advisory work and has held long-standing leadership and board roles with the Society for Information Management (SIM) at the chapter, national, and foundation levels, contributing to the advancement of the CIO community.
