Jake Lunney

Managing Director

Jake currently leads the Adaptive Services team at E78, an official partner of enterprise software company Workday. In this role, Jake manages a team of 12 consultants who are focused on implementing, integrating, and optimizing Workday Adaptive Planning – a cloud-based BI budgeting and reporting tool meant to serve as a replacement for the Excel-based financial modeling process. Jake is also the primary sales lead for the team, responsible for facilitating the end-to-end sales process from finding new leads to closing deals.

Previously, Jake worked as a Managing Director on the FP&A consulting team at E78 and, before it was acquired by E78, Cadilus where he was hired as the first employee after the founders in 2018. In this role, Jake worked on 80-100 engagements across a wide variety of industries and company sizes. Jake was responsible for building financial models, running annual budget and monthly reforecast processes, developing business intelligence reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.), and performing business analytics to support the larger strategic initiatives of his clients. He also worked on projects focused on turnaround consulting, product development, pricing, strategic partnership analysis, and financial technology roadmapping.

Jake started his career working as a Financial Analyst at Capital One, where he was in a rotation program that enabled him to work within three different areas of the business: the bond-trading team, central financial planning and analysis, and credit card finance.

Jake holds a BA in Economics and Chemistry with a minor in Hindi-Urdu from UNC Chapel Hill. He enjoys traveling, playing basketball, and making music in his free time.
