Darren Herz is a Director at E78 Partners within our Fund Solutions practice. Darren brings nearly three decades of operational and fund administration experience in the alternative investment industry, with a focus on private equity, private credit, and venture capital.
Prior to joining E78, Darren was Chief Financial Officer at Goldner Hawn, a Minneapolis, MN based private equity firm where he led the firm’s finance, compliance, and investor relations activities.
Prior to Goldner Hawn, Darren was Vice President of Finance at Norwest Equity Partners (NEP), a private equity firm with offices in Minneapolis, MN and West Palm Beach, FL. At NEP, Darren led the finance team in all functional aspects of accounting, finance, tax, regulatory compliance, and risk management. Prior to NEP, Darren held various positions in Corporate Finance at Wells Fargo & Co. Darren currently holds an MBA from the University of St. Thomas. In addition, Darren earned a BS from North Dakota State University.
