Matt has over 20 years of diverse experience including eight years as a Big Four auditor and eight years of front-line experience working in large public companies. As a consultant Matt has worked in Healthcare, SaaS, CPG, real estate, and professional services. His strengths include restructuring, audit preparation, and technical accounting research and analysis. Having helped multiple clients understand and implement new accounting pronouncements; he’s the rare individual who finds great satisfaction in preparing a fifteen-page accounting memo only an auditor will ever read!
Matt holds a Bachelor of Accounting and a Master of Professional Accountancy from Mississippi State University and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Tennessee. He lives in Arkansas with his husband, Will, and two precious pups, Calvin and Delta Dawn. He loves playing tennis and bike riding, but a life-long lack of coordination means the Peloton is the safer option for biking!
