With an arsenal of tools and methodologies he developed from his tenure as a private equity Group CFO and various portfolio company CFO roles, Dan’s leadership brought about transformative changes. Since the inception of Outliers, his acumen has been recognized and sought after by over 60 PE or family office-owned portfolio companies, illustrating the depth of his impact and reach within the industry.

Prior to his groundbreaking work with Outliers, LLC, Dan accumulated a rich tapestry of experience. He held the esteemed position of Group CFO for Riverside Micro-Cap Fund I, II, III, cementing his status as a foremost authority in financial management and strategy.

Dan’s commitment to excellence isn’t just reflected in his professional journey, but also in his academic pursuits. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Toledo and a Master of Business Administration from the distinguished Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. Showcasing an indomitable spirit, Dan achieved this feat while working full-time, attending evening courses in Ann Arbor. His global perspective is further underscored by his time in London, where he enriched his MBA program by attending courses at the iconic London Business School.
