Solution
A E78 partner implemented e-business, content, and contract management solutions. He supported the integration of the XML gateway for connecting provider procurement systems with supplier order management applications. The solution translated a wide variety of divergent purchase requests from provider systems into a standardized form, and then translated them back into the required form for the supplier. Supplier communications back to the provider were handled in the same manner. This enabled a supplier or provider to communicate with hundreds of other organizations through a single, standardized interface. The E78 partner also contributed to the overall product direction.
